An Absoulute Monarchy ("mon" meaning one and "archy" meaning rule) is a government commanded by one with absolute power. A monarch (the leader of a monarchy) generally appoints an heir to take up the power when the monarch is gone.
Monarchist governments are extremely prone to corruption as the monarch having so much power is extraordinarily dangerous and self serving to the monarch. Many clans will see that a system such as this is detrimental to large clans or unions. One man with complete power, such as a monarchy, rarely works as corruption, management, and economic issues arise. It is, regardless, beneficial for some smaller clans as the populace requires a complete leader to organize and inspire them.
